this post has been a long time coming! i'm just finally going through the hundreds of pictures i have from the past few months! so just a forewarning ... there's still lots of pictures and a pretty long recap ... more for my journaling than anything so endulge me :)

i felt more ready with having this baby than with the other 2 and i was a little impatient when she was holding out on me ... i had been dilated to a 3-4 for almost 4 weeks and kept thinking "today is the day" and it would come and go without baby! cindy and arlin came down to help out with the kids and i knew my last day would be april 27th wether i was induced or she came all by herself. the night of the 26th i started having consistent contractions but kept waiting it out because i didn't want to get sent home from the hospital ... i called my dr on the 27th when i woke up and talked to his nurse and she said i could go up or labor at home as long as i wanted since i might be more comfortable at home for a bit longer and then i got a call back from the dr about 1 and he told me i needed to go get checked in and started on the antibiotic i needed {i was group b positive} ... since that takes 4 hours to go through my system to the baby he wanted me to get started on that. my dad and mom came over before we headed up and tone and my dad gave me a blessing to put me at ease with everything. so we checked in a little after 3pm and got settled in around 4. my mom and jess came up with lots of treats and games and oils for my much needed foot and back rubs :) and we were ready for a long night. i didn't progress too fast but by 7:30pm my contractions were to a painful point that i was ready for the epidural. the dr got up to the hospital around 9 and i hadn't progressed too much still so we kept playing games and enjoying the visits from the nurses ... mom made me the cutest hospital gown and we had lots of visiters to see her handiwork! ... mom and jess decided to go get some food around 10 because it looked like we had a while to go still and my nurse came back in to check on me at 10:40ish because she had another patient that was getting close and she probably wouldn't be back for a while ... luckily she checked though because i was ready to go ... bella decided she wanted to come right then and the nurse told me to hold my breath so i didn't accidently push her out while she set up and got the dr back. tone was just going to get jess and mom when they got back ... they barely got in the room and we were just waiting for the dr to come in and deliver this babe. with a push, she was here and had lots and lots of black hair! miss bella elizabeth was born at 11:04pm, was 8lbs 4oz and 20 1/2 inches long. she was a little angel and was so alert ... we were all a little tired but so glad to have her here safe and sound. dad got to the hospital just a few minutes after she was born. we had a great first night and cindy and arlin got up with baylee and boston first thing in the morning. they were so excited to see their new sister. boston had a bit of a runny nose so he had to wear a mask and baylee drew her some beautiful pictures. we had lots of visitors that day and it was good because the next morning we found out her bilirubin was really high and she had to go right under the lights. after being in there all day and doing great at eating and pooping, she hadn't dropped much {at the time we didn't know that was actually good because they usually spike even higher so to stay the same was actally progress} ... we were a little discouraged and had a game plan with the nurses there so that i could board in the same room we were in and she was able to stay in there with me in her incubator. through the next 24 hours she still hadn't changed much and tone came up with arlin to give her a blessing. we felt at peace that things would be good just not as fast as we'd like them to. that night the nurses came in to check on her and were really worried about the color of her tummy {it had turned gray because of the lights} ... they took her to the nursery to watch her close and run all sorts of tests. everything came back perfect but they wanted to do an ekg on saturday morning just to be sure. it was a very trying night for me and if she had been crying and upset in the light box i don't know if i could have made it ... she was an angel! she just layed there and slept except when i took her out to feed her and then she never cried and would just go right back under the lights. i was so glad to have tone there to help me out emotionally. {even though the sleep he got in the lovely chairs they had and the hardwood floor were not that great!} i felt so torn to not be home with bay and bos and felt so helpless in helping bella get better. nothing was seeming to work. luckily for us time was on our side. the more hours she was alive, the better her bilirubin score was even if it wasn't dropping much. finally, saturday afternoon they got the results back from her ekg and said we could go home with lights and just have her tested until her levels were back to normal. it was soooo nice to get home! cindy and arlin had the house clean and the kids so well taken care of and that was a huge relief being gone for 5 days! bella had to be on the lights until that following wednesday but is healthy and happy and the most peaceful little angel! we are so blessed to have her in our family and we all love her so much!

return from 'hiatus' ...

Soooooo long since I've been in the 'blogging world'! I do have a pretty good reason and I'm hoping it gets better from here on out ;) I am going to {slowly} catch up the last 9 months but it's more for my record keeping than anything! For now I will just post what I can starting now ...

So to give a quick recap of the last 9 months we pretty much have just been getting ready for this little bundle of joy that is coming in the next couple days! I've been super sick this whole pregnancy which has been a change from the other 2 ... Bay and Bos {and Tone} have been really patient with me though!

So starting with me ... the obvious, I'm pregnant and due any day now ... I turned 30 in March {which was a big milestone} Tone got me a puppy I've been so glad that she has been adjusting really well to our family! We named her Foxxy and she's the cutest little dog! I'm still in the YW and love every minute! I have great girls and I love the ladies I serve with too! It's alot of time but so worth it :) Bay thinks she's part of the group too which is fun! Around the house ... I've been cleaning, changing rooms around and doing the normal 'nesting' stuff! I worked for my dad one day a week through tax season and that was really nice to be able to help out! Tone made his schedule work to take the kids that day and it was good for them to have a 'daddy day'.

Tone started doing some financial planning with his mission president at the first of the year and teamed up with my dad to help his clients where he can too. That has been awesome for us ... he's taken off with it and he's now getting super busy with the construction biz again! We all are just trying to keep pace with him which is a task! He's been doing p90x faithfully and running 4 times a week to get ready to run Ragnar in June ... He's a machine right now and I appreciate all he's been doing for our fam!

Baylee has been in pre-school and learning sooooo much and loving it! She goes to the Little Brick SchoolHouse with her cousin Charly and it's made her grow up so fast! She's quite the artist and loves to draw and write and amazes me daily in what she knows. Also in my re-arranging, I moved Bay and Bos in a room together and they have bunk beds and LOVE sharing a room! now Lil Miss Bella will have Bays room for her nursery ;) She's a great big sister and can't wait to have this baby here!

Boston is more boy than ever ... He proves daily he is his daddy's boy ;) he is always in the dirt and wanting to be on a bike or 4-wheeler. Tone takes him to work with him every once in a while too and he loves to be on the job by tractors, tools and all the 'man' stuff! It's fun to see his personality come out more and more as he is growing up way too fast! He is my little snuggler and I know he'll be so glad when I can hold him better again without this big belly getting in the way! lol!

Well, that's about it in the short version ... I feel like we are continually blessed and lucky to have each other! I had April take some pics the other day for me before I lose this lovely belly and she sent me a sneak peak of one of them today! She is so talented and I'm sooooo glad she captured this time for me! I'll leave you with this cute picture and can't wait to see more and meet Bella in person real soon!

wow!! 29 years! how fast that goes by! :) we had a great day of celebrating! because tone's birthday fell on a sunday this year he got a new tie for church along with other gifts! baylee was so cute to help him get all his stuff opened first thing this morning! and then off to church we went!

we had my family all over for a birthday dinner after ... thanks to everyone who helped bring food, it was a feast! we had roast, mashed potatoes, salad, rolls, and homemade ice cream and cake for dessert! it was great!

we love you tone/dad and hope you had a great, great day!!

4th of july parade and the "jo bros"!!!! {july 4th}

we absolutely try to cram every possible thing in on the 4th! it is the funnest day but a little long and by the end it feels like we've lived 3 days in one! :) we started out this morning running the 5k in kaysville ... we have been running 4 days a week to be in pretty good shape and we did pretty good! it is a really fun tradition ... there's always a huge turnout and this year we ran with april, dustin, savanah, wyatt, sarah, becca and brent {that was the fam but there were other friends there too!}

after that my mom met us with bay and bos and we went up to the breakfast where dad cooks for the whole town ... he's been in charge of this for 30 years now and does a great job!

we headed down to main street from here and got ready for the parade! the kaysville parade is the greatest and the water section is always so fun ... this is the first year in a long time that tone sat with us instead of in the parade throwing water! the kids had a blast getting soaked and getting candy, beads, toys ... they all got a ton of stuff!

we were able to get a little nap in and headed off to p-town for the stadium of fire! our cute friends brady and brandon got us great tickets on the field and we had a blast with a huge group of our friends there! baylee was soooo excited because among glenn beck and shedaisy was the jonas brothers! she watches their show faithfully and knows all about kevin, nick and joe ... she got an awesome red, white and blue 'jonas' shirt just for the occasion! Brandon's cute mom val had gotten a v.i.p. pass and took each of the girls up to the front row by the stage for a song! bay was in heaven and kept saying she danced on stage with the jo-bros! lol! it was a great night!

Oquirrh Mtn Temple open house {june 30}

we've been doing alot of temple activities with our youth this year and it just worked out that this tuesday night boston got to be my date for the evening ... it was a beautiful temple and we had a great time going through it! this was boston's first temple to go through and he really liked the water fountains outside :) he was busy as normal but with the help of bishop and the girls, keeping him occupied was an easy task!

Manti Pageant {june26-27th}

we had a great time at youth conference this year! we were able to stop at the new draper temple on our way down to manti friday morning and do baptisms for the dead, which was a neat experience! we then made it down to the manti city park where our camp was all set up thanks to bishop, tone and ben :) {tone volunteered to come help us out and as it would have it they were able to get quite a bit of riding in which was fun for them too!}

i didn't get any pictures from the pageant itself ... i was afraid of the rain ruining my camera however ... it was so awesome and the weather ended up holding out with no rain! we had a short night and got up early to do a service project weeding and replanting bulbs at the manti temple. it was a great trip and we were all a little tired coming home ... here's what my car looked like ... lol!

thanks jess and ty for watching the kiddos too so we could go enjoy this with our youth :)

Father's Day! {june 21st}

happy father's day! anthon is the best dad to baylee and boston and we are sooooo grateful for all he does for us! he is the best to play with, wrestle with, bike with or swing on swings with :) {as you'll see!}

we went to my mom and dad's for the day for a great bbq and spent time with the whole fam! we spent alot of time on the swingset that anthon built for my parents ... go big or go home! it's huge and we can all get swinging way high and it isn't going anywhere! it's awesome! the kids of all ages love it! we had a great day and are so thankful for all the good men in our lives ... dad, papa and grandpa arlo ... we love you!!

Mom and Dad B. visit {june 17-21}

mom and dad burbidge got to come down for a little visit and brought maddy too :) it was {i'm sure} to visit us kids mostly, but it helped that tanner and taylor were getting married too!

we all went to the roy aquatic center for the day on friday ... we had a blast!! the kids loved the slides and tone took boston on the {big} slide too! we had a great day in the sun!

so, i really bombed on pics from everything else but i did get one pic from tanner's wedding reception with him, dallin, haley and lynsie ...

it was beautiful and reagan did an awesome job putting it all together!

we {love} having the family all together and this trip was as good as any other ... wish it was more frequent but it was great!

Mom's bday!! {june 9th!}

so we are starting way back in june to get me caught up here! my cute mom had a birthday again :) it's crazy how fast a year goes by! we had alot going on this day so to start the day out right, we all went to 'granny annie's' for breakfast! the kids are slightly energetic in the morning and were bouncing all over the booth! my mom is the greatest and we are so lucky to have her as our mom and nana!! love you momma!

so i know it's been a {LONG} time since i've gotten on here and done my blogging duty but it's been sooooo crazy around here! i'm finally getting back to some work and will be updating as fast as i can so i'm caught up again! what we've been up to you ask ?? i'll be blogging about it all soon but ... we've been on the lake, at the campground, in washington, girls camp, youth conference, celebrating birthdays, holidays, at the jo-bros concert :) {bay was really excited about that!} and trying to get work and chores done in between it all! i can't believe summer's almost over and bay will be starting pre-school and bossy will turn 2 all in a few short weeks!! time is flyin'! i hope your summer has been as fun-filled as ours ... i'll be back soon!~

A {fun} cousin filled week!

This past week we were lucky enough to have Sis come stay with us and she brought Kamdin, Logan and Presley!!! We were needing a cousin fix and it was so fun to have them! The kids played constantly and enjoyed every minute! Bay tried one night to have a sleepover in Kamdin and Logan's room but surprise! they wouldn't go to sleep so I had to make her sleep in her bed :) Luckily we had great weather {the rain came in this weekend} and they played in the sand and on the tramp non-stop! Lynsie and Luke came over to join in the fun too! It was great! My kids have been sad since all the fun has gone so we'll have to do it again soon!! Love you guys!

This is a sad picture post because somehow in hurrying off to the lake, I forgot my camera! dang!! Luckily April brought hers :) So I figured I'd better document it now so I keep things in order and I'll add pictures later! {I haven't got the pics from April yet so if you want to see some of the pics anytime soon ... go HERE and check out her blog to see them!}

It was a gorgeous day and I'm sure there will be many to follow! The boat ran perfect for her first time on the lake this summer! Boston was a maniac and wanted to be in the lake the whole time! He luckily has a handle on his life jacket because I was constantly pulling him back in the boat and on my lap! He rode the tube with Tone too and laughed the whole time! Bay didn't want to get in this time but hopefully she'll warm back up fast! There's nothing better than being on the lake with the family! LOVE SUMMER TIME!!!

Charly's 4th bday party!!!

WOW! I swear it was yesterday that April and I were both pregnant with these little girls and they are now 4! Unbelieveable!! Charly had the funnest 'animal' party today and we got in on both parties! Her friend party was in the afternoon and we stayed through dinner and the family party too :) It was a fun-filled day! Charly and Baylee are the cutest friends and it's so fun to see them close like April and I were when we were little ... not that we still aren't ... we have stayed that way for 29 years! Well ... Charly loves all animals and so this was a fitting party for her! She even got a hamster and the cutest pink cage for him for her birthday! The kids all brought their favorite stuffed animal from home and played 'guess the animal by the sound I make' game, pin the tale on the donkey, giant bubble blowers and Savanah did a couple cute animal games for them too! I took 300 pictures because they were sooooo cute the whole day! I'll try to narrow them down though :) April is a cake genious and made the cutest Giraffe and Pig cakes for her too!

Memorial Day!

We've made a bit of a tradition now by going up to the cemetary and Baylee helps clean off my Grandma Wright and Grandpa Dunford's headstones. She really looks forward to helping Nana and Papa and it is so fun to tell her stories about who they were since she never got to meet them. Boston doesn't get it the same yet but hopefully next year :) For now he enjoyed all the pinwheels and flags and tried to take a few home with him! Here's a few pics from the Kaysville Cemetary ...

After we went over to Mom and Dad's for a hot dog roast and dinner out in their backyard! I love summer time and we all look forward to these nights! Aunt Louise, Uncle John, Emily and Grandpa Wright and Grandma Dunford all came too! It was so fun! Sorry for the picture overload but I can't miss a moment! :)

Jackson Hole ...

I know I'm way overdue {as usual} for an update but I guess it's only going to get worse the longer I procrastinate!

Mom and Dad invited me and Anthon to go to Jackson Hole with them and stay at the Teton Club {which was awesome!!} and we asked Jess and Ty if the kids could stay with them a couple nights ... which after the disaster they created for me earlier in the week I was needing a break :) They gladly took them and the kids were sooooo excited! We got up to Jackson Thursday afternoon and after checking in, went into town for a little shopping and dinner. We ate at the Cadillac Grille, which is awesome, and then headed back to the condo. The weather was perfect! Tone and I went to relax in the hot tubs and then we all played games until 1am! Friday we were planning on going river rafting but there wasn't too many people going yet as the water was pretty high so we decided to go into the Park ...

Mom worked at Signal Mtn Lodge for quite a few summers before she married Dad and it was fun to go by where she worked and see the Lodge still there! This is the lake she worked on and what a gorgeous backdrop! I made Tone pull over to get a pic ... he wouldn't open his eyes for a pic but it was still beautiful!

we only saw a bunch of elk ... oh and I think we saw some cranes too ... I thought they were ostrich's but after getting laughed at pretty good realized they weren't in these neck of the woods! Here's a couple more shots that I have to share ...

{I literally had to hang out the window to take this because Tone wasn't going to pull over any more for me to take more landscape pictures! ha!}

We got back to the condo and cleaned up so we could go to opening night at the Bar J Ranch! We were so excited we got there opening weekend! It is always great fun and they put on a fantastic dinner and show! We got there early enough to get in on some of the dutch oven scones they do and to watch them cook all the steaks on their huge grill {which dad and Tone loved to watch}.

If you've never been here, it's so worth it! They are so funny!

Saturday we got up and took a tram ride to the top of Rendezvous Mountain {where we were staying}! It was an amazing view!! It's the first tram in Jackson and just opened up this past winter. There was a ton of skiers still going up and off-trail and a lot of para-sailers jumping off the mountain when we reached the top! It looked like fun ... maybe next time we'll brave it!

Thanks again Dad and Mom for everything! It was an amazing trip and so fun to be with you! oh and on a side note ... the kids were so good for Jess and Ty ... how that happened, I don't know! They both slept all night and Bay even slept in her own bed! Crazy! Thanks again for making it possible for us to leave and not have to worry about our kiddies!! Love you all!

can't I have a reset button??

I woke up this morning with a couple texts from Tone asking me to do some emails and work stuff so I got the kids involved {or so I thought} with Mickey Mouse and Special Agent OSO ... they were being so quiet and good I kept thinking how nice it was to not have them hanging on my legs crying for my attention! I kept working ... I should've taken the 'quiet' hint and checked on them but I didn't want to disrupt my good children ... after about 30 minutes Bay came in and asked for more juice and I turned around to see her covered from head to toe in baby powder! The initial panick set in because I had just bought a brand new, large baby powder because Bos had just used up the other one ... I tried to be calm and asked where the bottle was. Bay responded "well, it's all gone but don't worry mom it's not that bad!" I said "should I come look or can you clean it up before I get back to your room?" the response "don't worry mom, but just keep working" RIGHT! I took a deep breath {I needed a really big one!} I found this ...

now ... you might be thinking "it's not that bad!" but look close to Bay's mess of a table ... she has scissors which she used to open a big bottle of bubbles that hadn't been opened yet and they used to make a glue like paste with the baby powder ... they filled the wheelbarrow with that. Then they squirted Bos's baby lotion into the mix! Lots of fun! so I took a deep breath, threw my angelic kids in the tub and grabbed my camera {someday it will seem more humorous!}

how can they be so naughty?? seriously! So if I could have 'reset' today ... I would never have let them out of my sight and put off work a little longer :)

SLC {supercross!!}

We got to go to Supercross! It's been 5 years since the last time they came to Utah and we went so it was fun! {even though Tone got to go last week too!} It was fa-reeeezing though! It rained on us and then cleared up by the race time but it was so cold! Once the main event started they shot these fire flames in the air and warmed us all up for a second and then they left these crazy smoke rings in the sky {see pic below!} It was nice to have a date night with just me and Tone! Chad Reed totally got robbed {BOO Chislom!} Tone was happy though cuz he's a huge Bubba fan! The guys we sat next to hated Reed to and had signs that said "we hate Chad Reed" and kept putting them in front of me to see if the camera would put it up! I stood alone and cheered him on! It was an awesome race even though he came in 2nd! :)

jesse's farewell week in {washington}!

This post has taken me so long for a few reasons ... {one} upon getting home from vacation ... boston came down with croup so there was a needy child in my arms 24/7!{two} i had the big young women lesson on sunday {three} i have been debating on going private ... yes i know i have said i never would {and for now i'm not} but i have decided to make a few changes, you'll notice the watermark on my pictures and for now i hope that protects them from getting used inappropriatly and i might have to do more in the future. wow! i still wish we were up in washington! it's been hard to come back to reality! but this was a trip to remember and i took over 800 pictures to document it! i won't share all of them but will try to do my best to do it justice!

day {1} ...we got up there at 2am wednesday morning and after a little sleep {thanks to mimi!} we had a fun filled day! to say this is heaven is an understatment! the boys found their spot on the riding lawn mower pretty fast and bos rode on tone's lap for a good 5 hours the first day! he fell asleep twice on the mower ... the first time, we laid him down and Tone went back out to ride and as soon as he fired up the mower Bos climbed out of his crib and we heard his little voice saying "doddy! doddy!" running down the stairs to go join him again! the second time he crashed, mimi took a much needed nap with him since she stayed up all night playing with the boy! {see pics below} i love that he fell asleep clutching his race car tightly in his hand too!

{Bos learned he loved the 4-wheelers too and fast became a staple on Jesse's lap!}

Baylee got a new princess dress {which she still has to wear for a little bit every day!} she was so excited that mimi remembered exactly what she wanted!

Bay had fun inside and out and i caught her chattin it up with uncle Jess outside ... love those times!

day {2} ... Jesse, Mimi, Bay and I went into Montesano and Bay got to pick out a chick to go with Grampa Arlo's other chicks! {13 in all now} she was so excited and got to hold a duck and some bunnies there too!

Cindy and I drove up to Seattle and picked up Sis and miss Presley! It was so fun to have them get in {even though we missed Kamdin, Logan and Brydon} ... while we were there Bay was being taught to do this ...

and then that wasn't enough so she learned how to do it this way ...

we all met up after at the Ranch House for some of the best BBQ and ribs out there! it is a favorite and we love to go there whenever we visit!

day {3} ... we woke up to Ken, Nin and Luke getting in! yay! the girls did lots of baking ... we needed lots of cookies for Sunday and we made them! yummy! {if you want the recipes go HERE!}

the boys did lots of ... riding! of course :) we played with the kids alot too! it's fun to all be together!

day {4} ... was much of the same! Sarah, Payton, Meg and Aly all got in town for some family time! Jesse got himself the "mission-do" ...

That night all the boys headed into Seattle for some Supercross action! Villopoto won that night, which was cool because he is a Seattle born guy.

day {5} ...The big day! The church was packed ... I think it was a first that the overflow and the gym had been used in a meeting. Jesse looked so handsome in his mission suit! He sang "Take My Life" by Michael McLean and it was so awesome! We all cried through it however! His talk and testimony followed and he is ready! It was so awesome to see him ready to go serve the people in Brazil! On a side note my cute mom and dad had made the journey up to Seattle for the weekend and came down for the meeting {thanks!!} We headed back to the homestead for some visiting and {good} food! It was packed ... what a tribute to Jesse and all the lives he's touched for good! {I took so many pictures ... this is the best way for me to show them even though I want to highlight a few!}

day {6} ... wow! how fast the time has gone by! today was our last day together as a family before Elder Burbidge took off on his adventure! Jesse got to some packing before we took off for the afternoon ...

We decided to spend the day at Schaffer State Park ... they grew up going there and it was a great place to go! the kids {loved} throwing rocks in the lake ... Jesse swam to the other side and started climbing to the tops of the trees! it was cool! we roasted hot dogs and made s'mores ... it was great! {again ... picture overload! sorry!}

we had a great feast for our last dinner too! Tone and I stopped Brady's Oysters to load up on the crab and Cindy made awesome potato fries and steaks and Neil contributed some shrimp too the meal! it was great!

We were cleaning up and getting ready for Jess to get set apart to become 'Elder' and Bay got a little ride in with Maddy ...

then she took Uncle Neil for a ride ... literally! he tied himself to the 4-wheeler to keep her in control and true to her daddy, she cranked the trottle and the rope went around Neil's leg and he landed flat on his back and she started to drag him before Grampa got her to stop! She gave a sheepish smile and then went slow for a few minutes :) {Neil, you're a great sport!!}

As we got ready for Jesse and Dad to come down ... Nin played hymns on her guitar and sang ... it was so cool! She's so talented!

and Dad gave a Family Home Evening lesson ... he read us the conference talk by Elder Pearson and reminded us that there is opposition in all things and that Faith and Fear cannot coexist. It was great council for all of us to hear again! He then set Jesse apart with such a powerful blessing and it brought a wonderful spirit into the home! It was great that we could all share in it!

Jesse wrote on the wall from the hymn 'Who's on the Lords Side' ... I know he definitly will be!

day {7} ... we all were up and going pretty early and got the cars packed up! we decided to head back to the promised land of Utah instead of journey up to Seattle to the airport and backtrack on our way home. we all left the same time and wished Elder Burbidge the best of luck! Watch out Brazil!!

It was a fun filled week! We will miss swinging, feeding chickens, riding dirt bikes all day, playing in the hot tub, cooking, catching frogs and spending time with the family!!

Every year in the springtime all the girls in my family get together for a luncheon at the JS Building or Lion House down in Salt Lake to celebrate the life of my Great Grandma Clark. It has been a great tradition and is so fun to now share it with Baylee! My cute Grandma and her sisters have a wonderful legacy and I love to learn more about their life and the life of their parents. Baylee had so much fun with Charly, Savanah and Aspyn too!

It was fun spending the day with the girls and I got to go to the YW General Meeting with Mom a few hours later and we got some dinner after at Red Lobster! It was a great day and a needed break after spending the last few days quarantined in the house with a sick Boston :( Thanks Tone for taking care of him all day so I could be with the 'girls'!

It's soooo nice when Anthon is home on the weekends and when I have to get up at 7 in the morning with Boston he says "I got it ... go back to bed!" That is the best! So I woke up to Boston running in my room a couple hours later looking like this ...

{ohhh} how I love this girl! We just filled out her registration form and a 'getting to know you' for pre-school this fall! I can't believe she's old enough to start school but she is soooo excited and ready! A few things we are working on before she goes to 'The Little Brick Schoolhouse' is 1- letting me do her hair everyday without a fight {way harder than you think!} 2-writing her name 3-she already knows how to say her numbers and alphabet but we're working on recognizing them and writing them out ... she's so smart though and it's fun to see her excited to learn! I thought I'd share her answers to her 'getting to know you' form!

1- I have a pet ... "dog named Kati and she lives with my Mimi"

2- I like to ... "have fun playing with Boston in my sandbox"

Boston went to nursery today! He was a pro already! He didn't even put up a fight ... he went right to the toys and his friend Logue was playing in there too so that helped but he didn't even notice me leave! {sniff, sniff} well I really am excited! I might actually make it to my classes now! I peaked in at him a couple times and he was clapping and doing actions to 'popcorn popping' ... his teachers said he was great! Tone picked him up and he was waving his picture they colored and soooo excited! I {love} this age!

Wow! 29 years old! I don't know why but it seems the years go by faster and faster! Today was a great day! Anthon and the kids spoiled me good :) We went to lunch at Red Lobster with Dustin, April, Charly and Will and then Tone took me shopping for a few things. He got me some clothes and decorations for the shelf he built me and a new hutch for my office desk. We had dinner with Jessica and Hunter at home and then Mike and Mindee and kids came to visit and have cake and ice cream! It was fun to spend the day with great family and friends! I'm so lucky to have both! Thanks to everyone for making it such a great day!

What to do when it snows 18"?!

So today we got hit {hard} with the white stuff! Like 18" hard! Crazy!! So what do you do when it snows that hard?? Well I deep cleaned the house while the kids looked out the window :) (well they played some too)

then Tone came home and the kids wanted to go play in the snow so we bundled them up and undertook the challenge of shoveling it all! Luckily our {awesome} neighbors helped with their 4-wheeler a little too! I made it down the sidewalk and thought I was going to die! Bay was in heaven and Bos found himself a little spot to sit and watch :)

So I have been in a Stampin' Up club for 2 years now and have {loved} every minute! My awesome demonstrator Addie decided that she was going to retire and it got me thinking ... I should become a demonstrator myself! I have a room full of Stampin' Up things and am slightly obsessed with adding to my collection :) What I decided to do is to start a club of my own! I am planning on starting in March and we'll do some cute Easter projects. I want to have about 10 people in a group and we will get together once a month and do 2 or 3 projects. Usually cards, or cute little boxes, or whatever I can come up with for that month. There is no cost to make the projects. I plan them, and everyone makes them and takes them home. You need to place an order of $15.00 or greater if you like:) and that's it! Each person gets a month to be hostess and will for sure get $15.00 of free products and also get to earn a free stamp set or product in the level 1 category that month. You could invite more people on your month too and boost your sales to earn more free stuff! It is SO much fun talking and hanging out for that hour-hour and a half. It is a good break and fun to leave with a cute project you created. (and I PROMISE I won't pressure to sell you on more...I hate when people do that to me, so I definitely won't do that!) So basically....I want to see who would be interested in being in the club! If you know any other of your friends or family that might want to join, let them know too! Time for a recap!

Well I've failed miserably lately at keeping up my blog :) Between a trip to Powder Mountain, Anthon getting his wisdom teeth out, Time out for Women (for me, mom and Jess) and having to speak in church on Sunday ... I have had a lot on my mind and haven't got to updating! So here's a recap :)

We went to our condo up at Powder Mountain and had a blast! (I didn't get very many pics though) We extreme sledded every night and had lots of visitors throughout the weekend! Jesse learned how to ski with my mom and did awesome!

We've also been very sleep deprived thanks to Boston cutting all 4 molars at the same time! Poor kid ... but as you can see with the messes he still creates :) he's a happy kid!

Anthon has had pretty bad migraines as of late and a lot of pain in his teeth so finally went to the dentist and they found his top wisdom teeth had been coming in and were putting pressure on his back molars, so they had to be removed :) He never had problems with them before the mission so they didn't make him get them out then ... weird! So Friday morning I took him in and knowing he wouldn't be feeling great, I felt really bad abandoning him for Time Out that afternoon!

He got me tickets to go for Christmas so he was persistant and Jesse said he'd help with the kids so I went! It was amazing! Absolutely worth it! If you haven't gone, you really need too! It was more than a needed retreat and my mom got us a hotel in Ogden so we felt like we had a bit of a break and then we had more Time Out fun Saturday! We didn't get out of the meeting until 4 and I was feeling like I should get home and help take care of Tone plus I needed to finish my Sacrament talk and Mom and Dad B were coming in town from Washington that night so I had to get things back together ... then I got a text from Tone saying "kids are bathed, bos is asleep, beds made, floors and chairs washed in kitchen, tree is down, bathrooms cleaned, jesse's room is also and i'm working on fixing the towel racks and i even fixed bays hair how she wanted" That angel! I had a total break and came home to a clean house and he even put a roast, with potatoes and carrots in the oven so we had dinner when mom and dad came! I was soooo spoiled! I got through my talk Sunday and am so glad that it's over! Mom and Dad B. headed to Roosevelt right after Sacrament meeting and last night Nicole had Baby Presley Anita! She was 7lbs 8oz and is a beautiful little baby! I'm excited to have a new niece and am so happy for Sis and Bry!

So my goal now is to do better so I don't have these super long posts :) Happy day!!

Baylee wants to be a SunBeam!

We've been really talking up Primary since Nursery has been so difficult for Baylee to like and today was our first experience with Sunbeams! To say the least, it was a traumatizing experience! She was so excited and told me the other day that she wanted a Book of Mormon to bring to Primary with her, so my mom made her the cutest church bag for her with a Book of Mormon and some flashcards of the prophets and Jesus pictures and brought it to her this morning ... it was so cute and Baylee was so happy to go to church today. She had been telling me all morning how excited she was to be a Sunbeam and after Sacrament I walked her to the Primary room and introduced her to her teachers and she sat in her chair with her little church bag on her lap and tried to be brave but started to cry as soon as I started to go. I told her I'd sit with her for a minute during the singing time and she loved it ... she sang the songs and listened to the story in sharing time. Then the time came to go to her class and have their lesson (it didn't help that there was 3 other little boys and no girls but her in the class) and she was suddenly a nervous wreck and started crying again as I tried to leave. Her teachers were so sweet and told me to go anyway and she could cry it out for a minute ... so I did and could hear her on the other side of the building as I got to my YW class. After about 3 minutes the Primary president came to get me to let me know that Baylee had gotten a bloody nose and her teacher was in the bathroom with her and Bay was hysterical. I went straight over and apparently Bay had gotten herself so worked up that her nose started to bleed and it was gushing ... on top of that she started to throw up blood clots (sorry ... too graphic) and it took me and her sweet teacher about 10 minutes to get it to stop! I told her thanks so much for all her help but we'd have to attempt class next week ... Baylee had put the class through enough for one day :) Bay was excited as usual to be a YW and come to class with the 'big' girls. As we got in my class, she very loudly (still shooken up) tells me and my class "Mom, your class is much better than my class." Soooo funny! Better luck next week I hope!

Baylee had the day all planned out ... she wanted to go bowling and then eat at Braza Grill and as luck would have it Utah played in the Sugar Bowl too so we got to have that great game on while the kids played! Baylee {shockingly} got spoiled :) She ended up with tons of good Hannah Montana stuff too ... including a wig which she wore all night! I made her a doll cake with a doll she had picked out and Tone has been working on a doll house for her {which is almost done}! It was a great day and thanks to all the family for making it so special! We love you Baylee! Happy 4th!!

We couldn't stand to not see Nicoley, Bry and kids over Christmas so now that mom and dad had made it ... we took a drive out to Roosevelt for the day! We had a little baby shower for Presley too :) Sis made a great dinner and we had a great time again with the family! Luckily the roads stayed clear too! Thanks Sis for letting us come! This year Christmas morning {luckily} wasn't too early ... me and Tone were up wrapping presents until 2:00 in the morning and it's good the kids were able to sleep in a little! Baylee woke up and was so excited! We were all so spoiled and it was so great to be together as a family! Boston got a train set, Baylee got a Nintendo DS (she could hardly stand it she was so excited!) Anthon got a new punching bag and speed bag set and I got some awesome handmade shelfs from Tone and some diamond earrings. Spoiled is an understatement! We feel so blessed for all we have! My mom and dad came over and spent most of the afternoon with us and we got a visit from Joe, Jenn and the kids too! We waited ever so paitently for Tone's mom and dad and Jesse to get here safely from Washington too! The roads were so terrible and it took twice as long as it should've but at 5 minutes after midnight ... they made it! We were up pretty late to continue our celebrating with them! Our Christmas got to be spread out a couple days and we had our big Christmas dinner with them and enjoyed every minute!

Our family has a tradition to spend Christmas Eve at Grandma Dunford's and dress up, have a nice dinner, and each family performs some talents :) Baylee worked really hard at learning "Where are you Christmas?" by Cindy Loo Hoo and Boston would say "Ho, Ho, Ho" ... when they got in front of the family the stage fright set in and it didn't exactly happen. They did act out in the Nativity though ... Boston was a shepherd and Baylee was supposed to join Aspyn and Charly as an angel but decided she wanted to be a shepherd like Bos. They were so cute and we had a great night! Santa brought a few gifts before we left so we hurried home to get to bed so we didn't miss him ... Baylee was so excited and it is so magical this year! Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night :)

Last Saturday my mom and dad took us couple kids to the Voice Male Christmas concert and it was soooo fun! Anthon even liked it :) They did a whole bunch of kids songs from their new album {Kid Stuff} and it was so great that I went and got it yesterday for Baylee and Boston ... they so love it and I can't stop singing the songs! So we {finally} got some snow! Yay! Baylee was SOOOOO excited to go sledding. We ran over to Happy Hollow for a couple hours :) It didn't last too long due to cold hands ... I just went to the store to get 'real' mittens that aren't just yarn so they get wet in 2 seconds ... next sledding experience should be better! But, we had fun! (Actually the pic at the top left of the collage was right before Tone crashed with both kids! They were headed in a hole when I took the pic and I put my camera down and saw both kids explode from the sled ... they all laughed though so no harm done ... Bos got his first whitewash with a little mud too!)

Thanksgiving morning we woke up and were talking about what we are thankful for and Baylee said immediately "Heavenly Father, Jesus, our Prophet, Mommy, Bossy, Daddy, Baylee and Daddy's work" ... we don't drill that in at all :) It is all so true though! We feel so incredibly blessed for our family, friends, our home, our ward and keeping Tone busy with work at this time! We spent the day at my mom's celebrating with her side of the family and not only had 1 day of good eatin' but 2! We celebrated Thanksgiving with dads side of the family at their house on Friday too! We had a great weekend and ate way more than was necessary! But I guess we can get away with it this time of year :) Here's a few pics of the fun!

Today was like every other Sunday in that it is always so hard to get to church on time! 11 comes too fast! I got Boston ready first and tried really hard to keep him happy because come 10:30 he's ready for a nap so I just need to get him to Sacrament and he can crash. Well about 10:50 I started scrambling to finish up me and Baylee and Boston had disappeared but I didn't think much of it and Anthon finished getting ready so he went to grab Bos and take him to the car ... then I hear "Jennie! You're not going to believe where Bos is!!" Then I hear Bos screaming and he had climed up on my bar and then over into the sink and cranked the water on himself and was drenched! I took a picture just cuz he still looked so cute and then stripped him down and put him to bed ... getting him dressed once is enough for me and we were late at this point so he won and got to go to bed :) Me and Tone still had to trade off to go to our classes but it was a day off for the kids!

Girls Night!

We have always gone as a family to 'The Nutcracker' every year and have usually had to drag the boys along so we got smart and decided to make it a girls night this year! It was so fun! April took Savanah and Charly and I took Baylee. We went to Olive Garden for dinner, which Baylee ordered 'breadsticks with balfredo sauce' as she calls it :) The girls were so excited for the ballet! After the first couple scenes and the lights would go down and everyone would clap, Baylee started asking me if it was over and then she started to think she was ready for it to be over! Intermission was a good break and then there was a little left in Act 2 before the end. She did really good and loved watching them dance ... next year it might not seem as long for her but she enjoyed being with the girls and reminded her daddy all day that it was just for her and mom and he wasn't allowed :) Love you girlfriend!

M.I.A. ?! I'm back!

I felt like I have been MIA for a while now! Between all the family birthdays, baby showers, the elections, our anniversary and YW ... I have been slightly overwhelmed! It has been a whirlwind and I can't believe how fast the past month has gone! I feel like I've neglected my family, friends and my blog so much that I'm going to try to catch up before the holidays engulf me! ha! Tonight we had our Young Women in Excellence and it was seriously awesome! It has been soooo time consuming but soooo worth it now we had the finale of it! Our theme this year has been "Steadfast and Immovable, always abounding in Good Works" ... how fitting eh?! I kept thinking thoughout the elections and with Prop 8 how necessary it is for us to be "Steadfast and Immovable" on so many issues. I really do try to be tolerant of people and feel that we were all given free agency and we do get to use that gift but so many things right now effect my family and children and it is so important to listen to our prophets council and be "Immovable" on so many things facing us. Our whole theme tonight was "Like the Stars" (steadfast and constant) and we had a Oscars, movie star thing going and really had fun with the girls! Baylee was very involved and dressed up with us all tonight too! It is so fun she can see how good these young women are at such a young age and she really does look up to them. She learned the song and sang with us all tonight too! It really was kind of a family affair because Tone came and helped in the concessions and we borrowed my parents old fashioned popcorn machine and he put it to work :) Bos enjoyed the popcorn and had root beer for the first time and I think he drank the whole thing! I am so lucky to have such a supportive family! This is an awesome video my good friend Ivonne had found on YouTube and we showed it tonight ...

5 years goes too fast!

It was our 5 year anniversary this weekend! I can't believe how fast it has gone by! I guess alot has happened though ... we've moved 3 times, started Tone's business, had 2 kids, and grown closer everyday! I am so glad I chose to marry Anthon! He is such a hard worker and great husband and dad! He decided we needed some serious R&R this weekend and we got it! He first took the kids the whole morning so I could go get my hair done and then he took me to New Image Day Spa for massages and pedicures (yes, he got it too!) he did complain a little after because his feet were "too smooth"! Then he took me to dinner at Timbermine and up to Alaskan Inn for the night! It was sooooo nice and a much needed retreat! Thanks honey!! I love you and appreciate you more than you know! <3

Oh and thanks to my parents and Jesse for tag teaming and watching the kids so we didn't have to worry about them :)

I came from a pretty big Halloween family :) My mom never misses a year without going all out on her costume! This year Baylee came up with our theme of 'The Wizard of Oz' and got everyone involved! Jesse was excited to be the Tin Man and with the arrival of his girlfriend for the weekend, she graciously was our Glenda ... so we had the whole crew! We had a great night of trick-or-treating ... a little short lived but fun! The kids got tired really fast! Here's the crew ... Tonight Bos was getting tired fast and I went to get jammies on him and Baylee knew the next step was getting a bottle ready and putting him to bed. She decided to help save me a step and made a bottle for me! Sweetheart huh?! Well she put about 20 scoops in the bottle and then filled it to the top with a little bit of water, it was a concrete/powder mess! So sweet though! She worked so hard on it and had bits of powder in her hair too! She was beaming when I came in and said "look mom! I got his bottle all ready for Boston so he can sleep better!" I love her! It only cost me $5 in formula but was well worth the smile :)

It's been a while since I've been able to post and nothing too exciting has happened but we've been constantly busy!! So here's our recap starting with the most recent :) ...

Sunday night our stake had a YM/YW fireside with Sis. Dalton! It was so awesome and I talked Anthon into coming with me and Jesse was sweet enough to stay with the kids :) She gave an awesome talk and challenged us all to 'change the world' by being 100% in 3 things everyday ...

1- Pray!
2- Read the scriptures for 5 minutes
3- Smile!

Simple enough huh?! We decided in our home to be 100% and it's been really fun to do so far! Baylee is even understanding it! I'm so glad we could go and listen to her!

We also got tons of snow on sunday and Baylee couldn't have been more excited! She woke up and looked out the window and started jumping up and down screaming "yay! it's Christmas!!" thank heavens it's not yet! She is so funny! As soon as church was over she was in snow clothes!

Saturday Hunter turned 1! Wow he's sooo big! He had a party and really enjoyed his cake!!

Bay found a new friend in Roxy that night (Brian and Suzanne's puppy) ... She wants one pretty bad now and keeps telling me Dorothy needs Toto so she needs a puppy like that :)

The party was fun! As always the kids had fun together :)

I've been doing lots of winter preparation ... cleaning out closets etc. I got alot of canning done! Yay! It's so nice to have peaches and pears! I haven't gotten to my tomatoes yet so I might not make it!

Bay is becoming a little artist too! She is really into drawing pictures of our family :)

We had Nicole and Brydon up here this weekend! Yay! It was so fun to see them twice in 2 weeks! Saturday me, Sis and Lynsie went to a baby shower for our cousin Alli and then Tone and Bry went riding up Bountiful canyon when we got back. We had a late dinner that night with everyone and then Sunday after church we had a big roast dinner ... it was so nice! Lynsie brought fresh potatoes to go with it! Today we were over at Jess's and we were looking through some projects in her craft room, the boys had pulled out a bunch of scissors to play with and they aren't the sharp ones so we didn't think much about it. I suddenly realized it was way too quiet and Baylee was MIA with a few scissors. I walked into Hunter's room and found this ...
Sooooo scary! My heart stopped seeing all the hair that was cut off and thinking she would be bald! This is what she did to her pony tail ... I figured we might get lucky and be able to layer it depending on where it was cut from. I pulled her pony out and this is what we saw ... Ahhh! Slighty one sided eh?! So in a panic I called April and was thinking of how I was going to get her hair in braids for Halloween since she's planning on being Dorothy. When in doubt ... April is the best! and she pulled off the layering ... Thanks April! I think she looks more grown up now but she has a cute 'do' in spite of it all!

This weekend we took a short drive out to Roosevelt for a much needed visit to Sis and Bry's new house! We got there Friday afternoon and Sis had dinner planned and the kids started playing out on the playground immediately! Tone brought his bike down too so he could go riding with Brydon ... they took a short trip Friday to scope things out and went most of the day Saturday. Me and Sis took the kids to the park in town and they had a blast! Bay grabbed Logan's hand there and said "come on honey, we're going to the temple" ... we cracked up for a while about that! *Having one of my kids kidnapped ... I know death would be extremely hard but at least I would know where they were and that they were safe.
*Turning around and my kids are all grown up! It feels like they are getting there too fast already!

*Stampin up! I love to make cards and scrapbooks for my kids!

*I am a junk food junkie :) well if you know me that won't be too surprising but I love milk duds and dr. pepper!
*I love to shop! shocked?! I love purses, shoes and seriously own 30 pairs of jeans ... they are the best! My current favs are Big Star jeans so maybe I could cut back on some of the others :)
*I love football! I seriously could watch college all day Saturday and pro all day Sunday ... it's so relaxing and it's one of my favorite parts of fall!

We spent a few hours up at Pineview today with the Stettler fam :) It was such a nice day and so fun to get the boat out on the lake! Boston got on the tube first with Tone and he seemed to enjoy himself! We had a great time and maybe a last hurrah until next summer!

I can't believe how fast a year has flown by! A lot happened in it but still ... Boston turned 1 today! Wow! We have loved every minute of this boy ... he has the best little tempermant and is so loving and patient! He's into it all right now ... he loves to discover every drawer and has learned how to unscrew knobs on any dresser in sight :) he's his daddy's boy! His new favorite thing to do is climb up on anything and everything! He climbed the stairs at 7 months so I'm not too suprised by his interest! Boston we love you so much and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

THE PARTY!!

We ended up having quite the house full :) Tone and Dad B. grilled up some good BBQ food and we enjoyed the company! We were lucky to have Grandpa Arlo, Mimi and Jess come down from Washington to celebrate Cindy's birthday as well as Bostons :) Papa and Nana, Aunt Sis, Uncle Brydon, Kamdin, Logan, Aunt Nin, Uncle Ken, Luke, Aunt KaKa, Uncle Ty, Hunter, Aunt Jenn, Uncle Joe, Braxton, baby Caroline, Aunt April, Uncle Dustin, Vanah, Wyatt, Charly, Will, our adopted Uncle Brandon and Aunt Brady, Brycie, Boston and our other adopted Grandpa Jeff and Grammie NeNe and Gavin ... Boston got more than a little spoiled and we had a great afternoon with our family and friends! Thank you all for your support and friendship! After the party we had some family pictures taken by April (they turned out great!! Thanks sweetie!) then we headed to Olive Garden for birthday dinner for Grammie Mimi! It was a great day! This has been such a fun weekend and we were so happy to be able to share in on the dinner, temple, luncheon and reception with our family and friends! Rob and Tash, we couldn't be happier! You are such a beautiful couple and you bring out a great part in each other! We enjoyed dinner friday night down at Market Street Grill and Saturday morning they were married in the Salt Lake Temple. Tasha's mom was the sweetest hostess and had us over after pictures for a much needed lunch break :) That night the kids finally were able to come and we enjoyed the reception and Aunt Louise and Uncle John's. It was beautiful! Baylee was soooo excited to see Tasha in her 'princess' dress and was more excited because she thought she was the princess Pocahontas! We loved seeing our out-of-state cousins and friends (Cres and Holly and Ben and Carrie) and their darling boys Joshua and Cody! We wish you were closer! Here's a few pics ...

So tonight we had a good friend of ours call and offer his beautiful lawn to us :) Anthon is going to be doing a big addition for them and the demo starts tomorrow and a good portion of their lawn would be trampled ... so Jeff knowing we were going to lay sod down let us come steal his! Thanks again soooo much because not only did we steal his lawn, he helped all night to lay it down in our yard! Anthon also stole Morgan to help and even though he's back to school, he willingly came and helped out ... I think Jane might kill Anthon for having him out until 1:30am on a school night! I'll post some final pictures in the morning when I can get a good shot! They did finish the whole front yard though!

End of Summer Family BBQ

We try to get together with the whole Dunford family the 3rd sunday every month and this sunday happened to be the last official day of summer for most :) School starts tomorrow so we enjoyed the last day off! We had a great meal at Aunt Jane's and Uncle Brent made homemade ice cream to top off the food! Boston kept getting the funniest pucker face eating the raspberry ... we were all cracking up! It was so fun and the kids LOVE to all get together! We are so glad to have family so close (and wish those who were far away, were close too!)

Joe and Jenn had their baby this morning at 9:16! She weighed 7lbs 14oz and was 20.5inches (exactly the same as Baylee!) She is so precious and we are so happy for them! Jessica and I went down to visit them at the U of U hospital ... there's nothing more precious than a newborn baby! Jenn is doing good and everything went wonderfully! Congrats to the new mommy and daddy!!

I'd been begging Anthon to take a break and head up to Washington for a visit and he wouldn't budge on the fact that he couldn't take work off ... but Thursday at about noon he called and said "how fast can you pack your bags? I don't have to be here the next couple days." Yeah! So off we went! It was such a fun trip and other than a way long car ride up and back ... it was perfect! It ended up being a mini reunion and we spent time with alot of Cindy's family which was wonderful! I met her sister Denise and niece Crystal and baby Noah ... they are wonderful and I'm so glad I was able to spend time with them! We had nice hot weather too which doesn't happen too often :) We did alot of swimming and tractor rides! The kids were in heaven! We spent Friday night going to Grandma Dahlberg's and enjoyed her poetry and Saturday we had a BBQ with everyone down at Grandma Curran's after that the girls had a dinner at the Rusty Tractor ... me, Nicoley, Crystal, Mindy and Whitney :) It was really fun. Sunday Cindy had a great dinner planned and we played games and enjoyed the day together! Monday we relaxed the best we could and went out for some great Mexican food! We loved every minute and it was so good to spend time with Nicole and the kids too! We love and miss you already Mimi and Grandpa and Jess! Thanks again for everything!

Reunion time!

Wow! What a fun weekend! We had our BIG family reunion up in Bloomington, ID this last Thursday, Friday and Saturday ... it is for our super extended family :) We have it every 3 years at the town hall there (for anyone who doesn't know, Bloomington is about 10 minutes from Bear Lake). My Dad has been the President of the Dunford Family Association for years now and usually gets most of the undertaking of this huge project of putting the whole thing together. We have a big potluck dinner Thursday night and then Breakfast Friday morning, we spent all day there at the hall playing volleyball, soccer, swinging making boats with the kids for the big race and trying to find a bit of shade! Alot of the women work on quilts for the auction that night too! I REALLY wanted a quilt but ended up with a Hada Hippo Zoobie for Baylee and a Kojo Croc Zoobie for Bos! They were really cute! We had a great catered dinner that night by the Copper Mill and then family puts on skits of our family history where Issac and Leah started in England and came over to America where they crossed the plains and after coming to Salt Lake were asked by Brigham Young to go back up and settle the Bloomington, Idaho area. It's always been a favorite and it was fun to have my family all there! It was funny because we used to always look forward to playing with our 2nd cousins (which we usually only saw at this reunion) and this year my Baylee, April's Charly and our cousin Brooke's Rilee were playing together and running wild! About 24 years ago, that was us 3! Saturday morning after breakfast they had the boat races in the canal by the hall and the kids did horse rides from Cousin Heber! After that our family all heads over to Bear Lake for the rest of the day. We had a great weekend and I hope my kids will love this tradition as much as I did growing up!

My mom, Jess and I threw a shower for Jenn tonight! It was so fun and I am so excited to have another baby niece!! Jess and I made the cutest diaper cake and I put a little personalized bracelet for Caroline and some super cute bows! Jenn got lots of fun presents and all the aunts, cousins and Grandma Dunford came to help celebrate this new little arrival :) She should be here no later than the 21st of August but we are all hoping for Jenn's sake the Dr. will let her come on the 14th. It was a great night!

So we finally made it to the rodeo this year! Yeee haw!! Baylee LOVES to go to the rodeo! She loves to get her cowgirl boots on and she wore my hat this year too! She watched every bit of it and when she was disappointed because she couldn't ride on a bucking bull, our friend Brenda took her down to her friend that was in the Posse and they got to ride on his horse :) During the barrell racing she kept cheering on the girl saying "bring her home! faster!" and then during the calf roping she would cheer "yeah! he got away!" every time the calf escaped the lasso! It was soooo cute! Boston enjoyed it while he was awake ... my dad has magic arms and everytime he holds Bos, he falls asleep! It was a fun thing to do for the 24th celebration and they had fireworks and some motocross that we all enjoyed!

10 year reunion!

Wow! 10 years has flown by! Saturday night we went to my 10 year reunion at the Sheraton in SLC ... we had a great dinner and got to catch up with alot of friends. We went down with April and Dustin and ate dinner with Paige and Cory and Carrie and Mason. It was such a nice night and it was fun to see how everyone had grown up and changed in 10 years (well some more than others :)) Thanks to all those that put it on and spent so many hours to make it so fun for everyone!

We went camping this weekend with the whole Dunford Family :) It was so much fun and we were in a beautiful spot! We got up there on Thursday afternoon and got tents and grills set up. We ate like kings! It's fun to have so many good dutch oven chefs in the fam and we had some great meals and desserts! Baylee felt right at home in the dirt and kept saying she was all black and looked like a dalmation! (which she did!) We attempted a swim in the river but it was a little cold after the feet got wet! We played a new fun game around the campfire called 'Psychiatrist' and it was pretty hilarious! Uncle Robert is so quick on his wit, we were all rolling! The hardest part with Boston is that he's not walking quite yet but really wants to be mobile and crawling in the dirt = really dirty baby! Saturday morning when we woke up Baylee looked at me and said "Mom are we camping?" I said "yep!" "Are we going home today?" "yep!" I said ... to which she replys "But mom I don't want too! I wanna camp forever!" ... Right! I am glad she had so much fun though! We'll be doing it again a few more times before summer is up!

One of my dearest friends got to come stay with us on Monday for a couple days finally! I lived with Mandy out in Denver and I (obviously) moved back to Utah and she had moved back to Boston and recently moved to Kansas City to be with her (almost fiance) Shawn. She has Utah now though in her area for work and got to come out for a business meeting and finally met Anthon and the kids in real life! We haven't seen each other for 6 years so it was way overdue and so fun to have her here to spend some time with us! Baylee loved her immediatley and after about an hour started saying "Mom, Mandy is my friend huh? Not yours, mine!" She got won over quickly when Mandy brought her a Hannah Montana nightgown ! She's obsessed with both jammies and Hannah Montana so there couldn't be a better gift! We had fun catching up at Nielsen's Frozen Custard in the afternoon and had a great BBQ dinner per Tone and Mandy got to try out my Cookie Salad yum! Tuesday we decided to rent a couple Sea Doos and head up to Pineview for the day and it was a perfect day! Anthon took the day off to come with us and brought Morgan (who's been working with him, so if Tone took the day off, Morgan got it too!) and Mom, Jess, Hunter and Brooke came too! After swimming and a quick shower we went to dinner at Tepanyaki (Baylee's favorite and we figured Mandy better try it out!) and then went to Lagoon for an hour to meet up with the family to finish off the crazy busy day! Wednesday we got up and had a yummy breakfast and Mandy had to take off for her meetings :( It was a quick trip but a great visit! We wish Mandy and Shawn lived closer but we'll take what we can get with the business trips! :)

Oh ... just a disclaimer on the Sea Doos you see us riding ... We did end up buying one of them :) Happy day! Anyone wanna go play at the lake?!

Today Tone turned 28! He finally is catching up to me since I'm a whole 4 months older :)and he never lets me forget it! We love and appreciate him so much! Well mom and dad started out the day taking us to Grannie Annie's for some good breakfast and then we hung around home so Tone could rest until dinner. (He's slowly kicking this pnemonia thing but can't push it too much!) We went to Tepanyaki's with Joe, Jess, Ty and Hunter and then went back to the house to play some blongo ball that Ty had made for Tone. It's such a fun game and I think that ended up being the favorite gift this year :) I attempted his mom's recipe of a double chocolatey cake which he was craving and I think it turned out! Nin and Ken and Lukey came over to join in too! Thanks for everyone making it such a nice day! Happy Birthday Babe! I love you so much!

Here's a couple pictures of the kids lately that I love! Baylee finally has talked me into getting her a booster, she was going through the 'I HATE CARSEATS' phase and this was the only way to keep her buckled in a safe way :) Boston is in such a fun stage too! He claps, waves and gets excited at the slightest bit of attention! It's so cute! I love these two!

Journey and Heart

Tonight we went to the Heart and Journey concert! It was great! Tone says he liked Heart better but I'm more of a Journey fan :) We haven't got a date night in for a while so thanks mom and dad for watching the kiddies! Not only did they take the kids, they traded us cars for the night so we got to drive their little sports car vs. our big family cruiser! We met our friends in Salt Lake at the Chili's close to USANA and then headed out for the concert! It was about as fun people watching as watching the concert! There was some funny people there! It was a good pre-birthday present for Tone! Here's some pix of us all :)

We had a little BBQ/movie night at Mom and Dad's tonight :) It was so fun! We had us, Jess, Hunter and Ty, Suzanne and Brian, Brandon and Brady come with their kids, Mom and Dad (of course) and Ryan and Brooke. We played a little croquet and after the BBQ roasted some marshmellows for S'mores. They have a huge outdoor screen and projector system and we watched 'The Private Eyes' ... it is the funniest show! Thanks again Mom and Dad for having us over!

How lucky we are to be in the Land of the Free! We got up early to start the day off and Baylee has been so excited for the parade and fireworks, it was easy to lure her out of bed for once! :) On our drive over to Kaysville I tried to explain to Baylee why we where red, white and blue and so she understood it best, I told her it was a giant birthday party for the USA and we all get to be part of the party. She's always game for a birthday party and is always wanting to know who's is next to celebrate! We had some great home cooked Kaysville breakfast thanks to Dad ... who's been in charge of the cooking for 30 years now. He's awesome! The parade was so fun and the kids loved getting as much candy and squirting everyone with their waterbottles and guns! The anticipation was building for the water part and getting to see Tone and Brandon come down with their awesome water contraptions and sadly, it was cut short due to a small accident :( It put a little damper on our spirits because after 2 days of hard work getting the trailers ready, they didn't even get to go by. It was still fun and we got wet enough to cool off! We headed off to Provo after that for some dinner at the 'Brick Oven' with the Stettler fam and enjoy some of the festivities with half of Utah down at the Stadium of Fire! It was soooo crowded but so fun! Baylee was more than a little excited to see Hannah Montana. I learned that she didn't quite grasp the concept of a concert though when she came out and Baylee was disappointed she didn't come up and hang out with us! I think she thought we were going to actually see her and hang out with her :) It was really fun ... I only knew her one song but it was great watching all the little girls in the audience sing every word and scream with so much excitment every time she started a new song! The fireworks were great and the kids loved every minute! I was grateful to have gotten a hotel in Provo so we didn't have to fight the insane traffic all the way home though! We woke up Saturday and went to Seven Peaks with everyone too! We didn't stay too long but it was a great time! Now for some R&R the rest of the weekend to get Tone back to good health! He was a good sport to come along when he was so sick and battered up! Thanks for making it a fun weekend! Love you!

Well Tuesday night we had Tone's softball tourney to wrap up their awesome season :) It was fun though! They won the first round so we had an hour break before another game ... I like to think it was the heat and the fact that they already had played but we lost pretty bad in the second round. We had a team full of our friends and each week the kids had so much fun playing together while all the dad's played too! Here's a few pics from the game!

On Wednesday we ran some errands with Tone getting ready for the 4th water parade and I had to throw this picture in because Baylee never naps and it was so cute to see her zonk out!

Today has been a long day getting ready for the parade and the big day ahead! The 4th is one of my favorite holidays and we start bright and early with the 5k and breakfast and head right to the parade for a ton more fun! The past 3 years Anthon has put his trailer filled with water in the parade and enjoys every minute of spraying down everyone that gets in his way. We had a minor damper put on it today when Tone fell off a roof at work ... he shouldn't have been up there because he has been starting to feel sick the past few days and has pushed his limits. He luckily didn't break anything but landed really hard on his arm and it did some damage! I finally talked him into going to the doctor and after an x-ray they determined he had pnemonia on top of it! Nice! He'll have to take it easy for a few days ... which is really hard for him to do! We did have Mimi Cindy come in town with Auntie Sis, Brydon, Kamdin and Logan ... it will be a fun day! (Here's a pic of the arm just so you can see how purple it got! ouch!!)

Baylee is so cute with Boston most of the time ... but lately she has been having serious jealousy issues! When Boston is needing me or anytime he starts crying at all, she comes running over to me and jumps on my lap and won't let me put her down. She knows he needs me and could be totally occupied in a game or movie and she drops everything so I can't pay poor baby any attention. It's a hard balance because I don't want her to resent him but he needs some attention every now and then too! Any advice for getting a better balance?! I know she loves him and she's been trying to play with him more and more and tries to get him to walk with her and tries to carry him around, which is a little scary! I know it will get better as he gets older but right now it's a little challenging! :) Gotta love it!

Week in Review!

It's been a crazy week and being out of internet until Friday, I decided to update the week real fast! I'll start with yesterday and go back so it keeps it in order :)
Saturday ...
Last night we went to a birthday party for our friend Preston ... it was so fun! Natalie picked a "Office" theme and we dressed up and played some trivia from the show! Tone dressed up like 'Roy' and I was 'Pam' ... I know, I'm a big fan of Jim and Pam but Jim was a little harder for Tone to pull off! He won himself a Dunder Mifflen golf ball in the trivia too (even though he answered that Angela's cat was Sparkles and not Sprinkles :) thanks Nat!) We had a great time and got to see their new house, which is beautiful! Here's a pic of us that dressed up ...

Before that we spent the afternoon at Roy Aquatic Center with the Chavez and Bushnell crew :) We had a great time! I think we're all a little pinker than before we went, but it was fun nonetheless! Baylee LOVES the water and Boston is learning that he does too! He's not afraid of it at all! He kept crawling deeper and deeper until his face was in too far and I'd turn him around! He loves to play with Tatum and was following her around crawling too! The big boys had fun doing flips off the diving board and going on the slides and were good to play with the kids too by giving them rides on their backs :) We love summer!

Friday ...
Today Baylee graduated from a weeks worth of swim lessons! Her teacher was Alexa and Baylee loved her! She learned how to blow bubbles with her nose, put her head underwater, straight leg kick on front and back while holding the stairs, supported back float for 10 seconds, jump off the side to Alexa and climb out without help. She was so proud of herself when she got her certificate, it was so cute!

after swim lessons Baylee, Boston and me met Carrie and Amy for lunch at Olive Garden. Carrie and Ben were in town visiting and we were excited to see her before she had to go back to Washington! Carrie and Amy are both the cutest pregnant girls ever! I'm sure they are having second thoughts after eating lunch with us 3! Bay and Bos are a handful somedays :)

Thursday ...
Tonight was Brandon's birthday and we went with the family and Dustin and Kassie to eat at Tepanyaki :) That is always a treat! We are glad we still are close with them even after moving 10 minutes away :) They are like family to us and we are so lucky to have them as friends! Earlier today we went to the park with April and the kids and then back to their house so that Charly and Baylee could run through the sprinklers! It was so fun ... Baylee didn't want to leave! (I'll put a few pics up when I get them from April ;) I forgot my camera that day!)

Wednesday ...
Another day at swim lessons and I had to put this picture up of Boston ... he was all tuckered out after eating breakfast and fell back asleep :)

Tuesday ...
Tone had his 2nd to last softball game tonight and they won! Yeah!! It was fun tonight, we had a great cheering section! Boston got sick in the middle of the game and puked all over the place ... thanks Auntie Jenn and Brady for helping clean him up and make him feel better :) Poor baby was cutting his 'fang' teeth and he gets really fevered and has a hard time keeping anything down. It only lasted 2 days this time so we're improving!

Monday ...
We started swim lessons and Nana came to watch! Baylee did so good! We went for ice cream after as a reward for us both! We watched 'Lost' tonight for FHE ... I know, not the perfect activity but we are almost through the 3rd season now and had to do it!

Sunday ...
Happy Father's Day! We had the family over for the celebration! We had a big BBQ and lots of good food! We love both our dads so much! I love my husband a father to my children too! Tone, you're the best! I'm the luckiest girl ever!

Well that's one week ... bring on the next! :)

Mom's Birthday!

Today is my mom's birthday! She shares this day with my Uncle Walt and Wes being a triplet :) So we went out to Uncle Wes's for a little BBQ and party to celebrate. I'm so lucky to have a mom like I do! She is the best example to me of what I'm striving to become. She is the most positive and happy person I've ever known. Even through all her trials, she has a smile on her face! She is our biggest supporter and is to every softball game, doctor visit, swimming lesson, tumbling recital, a drive to the airport, the birth of all the grandkids to date, moving (even the not so fun stuff) ... you name it! She's always there and probably always will be! She is the best Nana to my kids too and they love her unconditionally! We all love you mom! Happy, happy Birthday!!

Washington Trip - The Ocean - Jesse the Graduate!

So it's been a while since I've gotten a post and it's because we've been in a whirlwind of fun things! We go to go on a short but sweet vacation to Washington to celebrate Jesse graduating High School! Yeah! It's so nice to have that over! It's amazing to me that I'm coming up on my 10 years this year and it seemed like I'd just done it! We flew up with Lynsie and Luke on Wednesday and were so excited to spend a few days before the actual graduation! We got started on the first season of 'Lost' and now are becoming addicts like many I know :) Anthon and Jesse got out on the dirt bikes almost immediately after we got there! No suprise but they had a blast! Baylee was in heaven from the beginning seeing Mimi and Grandpa Arlo and was so excited to see Dukati (her dog as she still is adament about!)She loved the hot tub ... so did Boston and Lukey! Bay has now decided we need one here. Jesse and his cute friend Sarah came over for a while on Thursday and Baylee made friends instantly! Sarah is a cute friend! Then Friday Jesse's cute girlfriend Corrine came over with their new kitty and Baylee made another instant friend! She loves her uncle Jess so anyone that's a friend of his is a friend to her! It was fun to watch her! Nicoley got in on Friday and we all went out to the beach. She came with her cute friend Whitney and her little boy Tyler ... he's the cutest! It was the kids first time seeing the ocean, and even though it was really cold, they loved every minute! Boston was crawling all over the beach and Baylee played soccer and ran up and down the beach with the dogs! Tone and Dad built a roaring fire where we cooked up some hot dogs and smores (yum!) and Jesse and his cute girlfriend Corrine were crazy enough to take a swim in the freezing water! We had a great time! Saturday we got ready for graduation and it is held in a big barn ... they had a class of 137 and Jesse was the Class Speaker so it was really cool to hear him! He did awesome and said some great things! Our cute cousin Ali graduated too but from Monroe High so we didn't get to be there but they came to hang out after! We enjoyed getting everyone together that night and Baylee went with Dad and Grandpa Arlo on a 4wheeler ride ... she couldn't get enough! We had fun playing games and hanging out til about 2 am! We had to leave about 5:30 Sunday morning for the airport :( a little sleep deprived! We were so glad we could go up but as normal it went by too fast and we wish we could've stayed longer! Baylee is still reminding me that Mimi didn't want her to leave and we need to go back! Hopefully soon :) Here's some pictures from all the fun! Congrats again to the graduates!

Princess Party Time!!

Today was cute Charly's 3rd birthday! She's such a sweet little girl! We love her so much! She had a princess party with Baylee, Ellie and Kate today! It was so fun, they all came as a different princess and played games and had a tea party! What more could you ask for?! Enjoy the pics!

Memorial Day visits!

We spent the afternoon going to visit the cemetary and see my Grandma Wright and Grandpa Dunford's gravesites (along with several other friends and family that are there too). My mom and dad came up with us and Dad and Baylee cleaned the graves and left some flowers. Baylee helped clip the grass around and wash the dirt off their headstones. After Baylee got to help Nana and Dad put the flag up at their house too. We are helping her learn the Pledge of Alligence and it's so cute to here her say it! We enjoyed the weekend even with the rain :)

Playing at the Crosland Farm

We spent the afternoon at the Crosland farm today with Luke and Amy and some of their other friends. Luke and Anthon had fun racing around on some mini bikes and Baylee's highlight was getting to ride Isacc (their horse). So fun! Boston got to go with me on his first 4-wheeling ride too! We had a little BBQ and enjoyed being with them! Thanks for having us over :)

ok now this one is a tag about Baylee ... she was tagged by Mollie Bradley so here's 8 things about our cute Baylee girl:

1. Baylee is full of energy like no other! From the moment her eyes open she is going a hundred miles an hour! I love every minute but I need the naps trying to keep up with her and she is long past naps, even though about 5 or 6pm we get a taste of why naps are really important :) She loves to play dress up! She's out of her jammies and in a princess dress within minutes of waking! She proceeds to go
through at least 5 different dresses in the next few minutes after that! As soon
as I get her snapped in one she's got another one ready to change into! If
she's not in a dress up she's in her underwear! I don't know why I
attempt to buy her anything but dressups and panties!

2. She loves to color, she has at least 30 books that have every page colored! She gets a new book and it's colored by the end of the day!

3. She loves animals! Since she was little she's chased any number of dogs around and luckily they've all been very patient! Jess's dog Jersey is her number one pal though ... the are so funny together! They wrestle and chase each other around for hours! She loves to go to petting zoos and ride ponies too! (she doesn't just pet however ... hugs are not optional!)

4. She loves to help with Boston! The second she hears any noise from his
crib she starts jumping up and down and yells 'yeah boston's awake!'
then she runs to his room and hops in his crib too ... so if he wasn't
ready to wake up yet, he will be!

5. She is such a cuddley, huggy and kissy girl! She is always wanting to hold
me or dad and is always planting big ol kisses on us too! It seems to have gotten even more so since having Boston, the second I pick him up she thinks I need her too! She has even started telling me 'don't hold us both just hold me.' Nice eh?!

6. She loves to play outside! She loves going on walks, coloring sidewalk chalk and playing in her sandbox! Tone just set it up at the new house this last week and she's only had a day or so of good playing weather! If there's sand, a pool or a tramp it's almost impossible to get her back in!

7. She loves to ride in daddys truck! Anytime she can go work with daddy
it makes her day! I usually have a bag of treats for her with plenty
of movies for the day too which helps ;)

8. She loves loves loves to sleep right smack dab in between mom and dad!
We've tried everything to help her in her own bed to no avail! We've
decided that there will come a day that she won't want much to do with
us so we'll take it while we can! She's growing up so fast its scary!

Tumbling Graduation

Tonight was Baylee's tumbling show at Miss Missy's house. It was so fun and she's learned alot from Miss Missy! Baylee's friend Ellie was in the class so that was insentive enough for Baylee to join and she's loved it and made lots of new friends! She was telling one of our neighbors that she got to go to tumbling with Miss Missy and the little girl asked who that was and I told her it was her teacher and Baylee corrected me quickly and said "no mom, Miss Missy is my friend!" So cute! It has been a great experience! Thanks again Missy!

Bowling with the Barnes's

Tonight we went for bowling and pizza with Mike, Mindee, Lincoln and Rian. We had so much fun! Baylee hasn't ever bowled before so this was really fun for her! She bowled a 79 and Linc beat her with an 81. They had fun the first game but then learned the bowling aide could be a slide and decided that was much more fun!
